Making a difference in our office
Several years ago we decided that the same commitment we've made to deliver the most efficient and clean-running aircraft could be applied to our own operations. The result was a cleaner, greener set of standards for our offices. To name just a few examples, our switch to filtered tap water has kept thousands of plastic bottles out of recycle bins or landfills. We've significantly cut down on our paper usage by adding double-sided copiers, changing printing guidelines and by encouraging our people not to print emails.
Making a difference in the air
From our new A320 aircraft with the V2500 Select One to the new 737s with CFM 56 Evolution, these latest engines will reduce carbon emissions for the atmosphere and improve fuel efficiencies for our customers. New 737s on order will also feature the Boeing Sky Interior that takes advantage of the latest environmentally friendly materials. All our new 737s will also have winglets, which have proven effective at reducing fuel burn by 3.5%.
